The Dutch are still behaving like colonials.
The difference is that we used to export the Dutch language to all kind of foreign countries, and now we create small communities in our own country, each with its own language and culture.
Wij Nederlanders blijven ons koloniaal gedragen.
Het verschil is echter dat we vroeger de Nederlandse taal exporteerden naar allerlei buitenlanden en dat we nu in eigen land buitenlandjes creëren, ieder met de eigen taal.
What did the government do about the integration problem?
• She created segregated areas and districts of (children from) Turkish and North African (mostly Moroccan) immigrants, with its information and community centers directed to separate groups for which the Islam is most important.
• Islamic primary and secondary schools have been founded and are funded by the government, just as the existing Public and Christian schools.
What has the government never done ?
• Putting Dutch lessons for foreigners on television. All kind of other language courses lit up the tv screen for the last 25 years.
• Organizing affordable professional Dutch language courses, available and mandatory for every foreigner who needs it.
A negative aspect of our welfare state is that the Dutch language is no longer to be learned through a workplace in the private sector, partially due to governments wishes to keep asylum seekers out of the production process. Since the early 80ties the non-Dutch-speakers had to turn to the facilities of community centers and other affordable but not professional (voluntary) language teachers. In the 90ties the number of asylum seekers in the Netherlands was increasing and slowly the relief and assistance agencies were getting managed on a professional way – with the underlying (but floating) goal to create jobs in a new welfare sector.
What has the government not (yet) done?
• Abolish separation in schools: amass knowledge about your religion you do in your own free time
• Encourage working with and going about other cultures and opinions starting from a young age.
• Create an identity in which the original as well as the new habitant can identify himself with.
What does the government do?
Nowadays our immigrants are being crammed by all kind of governmental subsidized classes in integration. Mold them for being employed in the same expanding circuit of “governmental subsidized relief”. Adopting so one of the Dutch present customs: At the slightest provocation there is a strong urge to start a “stichting” (foundation). Besides subsidized menstruation dancing there is now the headscarf folding course.
And to encourage integration . .
The government wants a ban on separate swimming for boys and girls on primary schools. And now there are Dutch parents who say that segregation for adolescents is beneficial during swimming so that young teenagers learn to deal with their intimate insecurities and uncertainties.
Television via Cable or Satellite
We, the autochthones, watch the Dutch-language television stations through the cable, which give us by day large amounts of tv games to watch and which show us the whole night shaking naked breasts and pricey phone numbers to call for your satisfaction. And in between a continuous stream of Tell-Sell-products. They, the allochthones, prefer the television stations through the satellite disc. Can you really blame them for this?
Wat deed de overheid op het gebied van integratie?
• Heeft segregatie-wijken laten ontstaan van (kinderen van) Turkse en Noord-Afrikaanse (meestal Marokkaanse) immigranten, met op separate groepen gerichte voorlichtings- en ontmoetingscentra, waarbij de Islam een zeer grote rol speelt.
• Islamitische lagere en middelbare scholen zijn gesticht en worden net als de bestaande Openbare en christelijke scholen betaald door de overheid.
Wat heeft de overheid nog nooit gedaan?
• Nederlandse taalles voor anderstaligen op tv. Wel allerlei andere taallessen hebben de afgelopen 25 jaar de beeldbuis verlicht.
• Betaalbare professionele Nederlandse taallessen organiseren en verplicht stellen voor iedereen die dit nodig heeft.
Een nadeel van ons verzorgingssysteem is dat nieuwkomers zelden meer Nederlands leren via de werkplek in het bedrijfsleven, mede doordat de overheid asielaanvragers liever geheel uit het arbeidsproces houdt. Vanaf begin 80-er jaren is de niet-Nederlander aangewezen op buurtcentra en andere betaalbare maar niet-professionele (vrijwillige) taallesgevers. In de jaren 90 neemt het aantal in Nederland verblijvende asielzoekers sterk toe; langzaam wordt de opvang en verzorging op professionele wijze geleid, met als onderliggend (maar bovendrijvend) doel een nieuwe banenscheppende hulpverlenings-sector.
Wat doet de overheid (nog) niet?
• Het afschaffen van de separate scholen: het verdiepen in eigen religie doe je in je vrije tijd
• Het van jongs af aan met andere culturen en opvattingen samen leren werken en omgaan.
• Een identiteit creëren waar oude én nieuwe landgenoot zich mee wil en kan identificeren.
Wat doet de overheid dan wel?
Veel allochtonen worden tegenwoordig via allerlei gesubsidieerde integratiescholingen en intredingscursussen klaargestoomd om daarna in ditzelfde alsmaar uitdijend circuit van “gesubsidieerde hulpverlening” werkzaam te worden, een soort “overheids-baan”. Zo wordt tegelijk een aspect van de heersende Nederlandse gewoontes overgenomen: voor het minste of geringste ontstaat de drang om een stichting in het leven te roepen. Naast gesubsidieerd menstruatiedansen is er nu dus ook het vouwen van de hoofddoek.
En ter bevordering van de integratie . .
Het op de lagere school verbieden van gescheiden schoolzwemmen voor meisjes en jongens. En nu zijn er dus weer Nederlanders die vinden dat opgroeiende pubers juist báát hebben bij een zwem-segregatie op die leeftijd om met hun intiemere zeker- en onzekerheden om te kunnen gaan.
Televisie via de Kabel of Schotel
Wij, de autochtonen, kijken via de kabel naar de Nederlandstalige tv-zenders welke overdag een groot scala aan tv-spelletjes uitzenden en die ‘s-nachts urenlang bevende borsten en dure telefoonnummers op het scherm tonen die je kunt bellen ter bevrediging. Dit alles afgewisseld met een voortdurende stroom aan Tell-Sell-produkten. Zij, de allochtonen, prefereren echter tv-stations via de schotelantenne. Kun je hun dat nu werkelijk kwalijk nemen?
